Silly Saison Ale This style is typical for the country side
of Hainaut, a Province of Belgium and a Department of France. It is a rural
area with large grain farms, and these farms all used to brew. A lot of beer
was needed for the many farm workers. The original style of Saison is a blend
of 2 or 3 beers, with one of them being an old slightly sour beer. This extra
touch of sourness gave it its thirst quenching nature for the farm workers in
the summer. Today however, the quality
of the Saison beers is perfect, but a real Saison should still be a blend of
2 beers. Blending beer is an art, and not all brewers master it.
Unfortunately some brewers just give the name Saison to their amber ale. |

Pink Killer Pink
killer is a beautiful blend of a Belgian White Ale and the tartness of
Grapefruit juice. A WIT must be brewed using at least 25 % of wheat malts.
Belgian wheat beers are fruitier, with a slight lemony touch, because the use
of coriander seeds, orange peels, and other spices is very common. Pink
Killer is made with water, malt, wheat, grapefruit juice, sugar, yeast,
coriander, orange peel, and hallertau hops. Fruity
and thirst-quenching, sweet yet not sickly, Pink Killer is a beer based on
malt, wheat and pink grapefruit, which explains its very unique color and the
hint of bitterness typical of this fruit, in turn quenching the biggest of
thirsts with a very flavorful taste.5.0% ABV |

Ename Some beers are already delicious just
sitting in their glass. A stable and very white head, almost like
beaten egg white, crowns this deep gold yellow body. Tiny little bubbles
float continuously from the bottom of your glass to the top in several fine
lines. A faint, malty aroma, is balanced with
hints of citrus fruit, and unspecified peppery spices. The first taste is not
overpowering but subtle and builds up with every sip: a rounder mouth feel
with a spicy tickling on the tongue and a somewhat bitter finish, drowned in
the glow of the 8.5 % alcohol. A triple by strength, this fabulous ale
is a one of the highest regarded by connoisseurs for its unbelievable
balance. Refermented in the bottle, thus a living
beer. 8.5% ABV |

Troubadour Obscura Pretty dark color, as you would expect from a stout.
Slightly more red-brown, though, when compared with Irish stouts. A dense
rich creamy beige head crowns your glass. Thanks to the refermentation
in the bottle, we have the natural carbonation. The flavors are deeper,
richer, more pronounced: malty, clearly roasted (is it hints of coffee, is it
hints of chocolate?) Deceptive, because the relatively high alcohol content
is not immediately felt, except maybe a slight glowing sensation. A
complex aftertaste, with some licorice undertones, and a pleasant bitterness
survives last. Absolutely a beer to savor and enjoy—let you taste buds
experience every ounce of flavor. A lot of lace is left on the empty
glass. 8.5% ABV |

Troubadour
Blond The clear, golden,
attractive color is what strikes you first. A firm white head is the
crown of this golden ale. Your first experience, while sipping the BLOND,
will be a refreshing, sparkling effect on your tongue, followed by a mild
bitterness enhanced by a spiciness, that finishes
with a sweeter sensation. A good nose recognizes the hops, in combination
with fruity esters. With its 6.5 % alcohol by volume it is somewhat
stronger in alcohol content than regular beers, but it’s not overpowering,
and it allows one to easily drink more than one glass--especially with
dinner, where we recommend it certainly with fish dishes. 6.5% ABV |

Scaldis Belgian Strong Ale Belgium has more different Strong Ales than
any other country. The Belgians love to drink beers for pleasure, lingering
over one for the better part of an hour. So it is natural they would
experiment with stronger brews. Because of their higher original gravity,
Strong Ales give the brewer a greater creative range in the number and
temperature of fermentations. Additionally, the strength of these beers makes
them sturdier, encouraging the brewer to use bottle-conditioning and aging to
develop yet more complex flavors and aromas. 12%

of traditional malts combined with the exclusive use of first-rate Saaz hops give it a clear sparkling colour
and a harmonious palette of subtle flavours and
well brought-out but nevertheless balanced aromas. An extended fermentation
gives it not only an alcohol content of 10.5% but also an exceptional
digestibility. 10.5% ABV - 6/750ml |

Petrus Aged Pale – Sour Ale "Aged "? Many
beers have a long maturation, but this one has 24-30 months, in
wood. "Pale "? This beer has an "old gold "to bronze
color, rather than the Burgundy more common in the breweries of West
Flanders. It is a pale version of the traditional local style This beer is
made only with pale malts, and is unblended. It has 24-30 months in wood, and
emerges with an oaky aroma; hints of sherry and fruit, among a depth of
flavors; the classic sourness in the finish; and an intentionally low
carbonation. The brewery has three cellars of wooden casks, each with nine
60-hectolitre vessels. These are about 50 years old, bought a couple of
decades ago from France, where they first held white wine and then Calvados. Available in 750ml
bottles or 11.2oz bottles |

Petrus Oud Bruin Dark ruby red, as red
wine. The style is also called the Burgundy of Flanders, and is a very
typical and common beer in West Flanders. A sour-sweet balance is discovered,
set off by the underlying bitterness of the hops. Light in alcohol, the
alcohol doesn’t hide or overpower the exciting flavors and tastes in this
unique beer. Although cold serving is recommended, taking your time to drink
it will release more aromas and exciting wooden flavors towards the end of
your glass. Available in 750ml
bottles or 11.2oz bottles |

Petrus Gouden Triple Triple
Style, which means that the brewer used three times the normal amount of malt
to brew this higher alcohol ale. Pale in color, as a true triple is supposed
to be, this mild and easygoing beer offers a flowery hoppy taste with a soft
alcohol punch. The balance between the hop-bitterness and the malt-sweetness
is perfect and leaves a smooth mouthfeel. The
creamy head absorbs never ending bubbles from the deep golden colored body of
the beer. 7.5% ABV Available in 750ml
